Before shot, soften eyes and expand peripheral vision to take in whole scene for ~20 seconds. Then gradually narrow focus to target and commit to one intention.
Wide-angle vision activates parasympathetic nervous system; calms nerves before narrowing to execute. Fixes tunnel vision anxiety, overthinking, target fixation on hazards.
Feeling tense over ball; focusing on hazards; mind racing.
