Hold club as lightly as possible—hands should feel 'dead' and disengaged. Clubhead weight does all the work. If you can't feel clubhead throughout swing, you're too tense.
Disengaging small hand muscles promotes smooth acceleration and natural release. Fixes deceleration on wedge distances; chunked pitches.
Leave wedges short from deceleration; pitches feel forced.
