At top of backswing, consciously PAUSE for one full second before initiating downswing. After pause, swing down as hard as you want. Practice until pause feels natural.
Pause allows lower body to initiate properly rather than arms taking over; stored energy releases naturally. Fixes rushing transition, quick tempo, loss of sequence.
Quick at top; tempo varies shot to shot; 'snatch' club from top.
