At the top of the backswing, imagine your lead wrist gripping a motorcycle throttle. Twist the knuckles counter-clockwise (toward ground) as if 'revving' in reverse—moving from cupped to bowed. Feel like you're 'screwing in a lightbulb' with your lead hand.
Reduces wrist extension (cupping) that opens the clubface; promotes earlier face closure without manipulation. Fixes slice, open clubface at impact, weak fades, inconsistent contact.
Ball curves right; clubface consistently open; compensating with over-the-top move.
